Is it possible to overfill the trach with mucus?

Yes, you can overfill the mucus chamber. We recommend inserting 5ml of mucus the first time you fill the mucus chamber for the day and 2ml of mucus after each simulation.

If the mucus chamber is overfilled:

• Clean up the device as much as possible.
• Wipe down all visible signs of mucus with a damp cloth.
• Do not add any additional fluids and allow the device to air dry completely before storing it.
