My Avstick arrived with extra simulated veins. What are the large and small veins used for?

The different sized veins are used to enhance the difficulty of the simulation and mimic the variety of veins found in the real world. Larger veins are designed to be easier for students to see and feel, while smaller veins are included to increase the challenge of the simulation.
